DAVID KOEDYK
David is an experienced patent attorney and lawyer. With degrees in law and chemistry, he works with clients operating in many fields including medical devices, food technology, pharmaceuticals, batteries and fuel cells, advanced materials, nanotechnology and flow cytometry.
David has extensive experience in patent drafting, prosecution and filing strategy. He performs novelty and freedom to operate searching and advises clients on their risks of patent infringement and defensive strategies. He has been involved in many patent oppositions before several patent offices and in patent infringement litigation before the High Court of New Zealand.
David is also an adjunct lecturer for patent law courses with Professor Susy Frankel and Dr Jessica Lai at Victoria University of Wellington Law School, teaching the patent drafting and interpretation courses.
